There is no better dog than a Goldendoodle! Here are ten facts about Goldendoodles to help you see why!
Goldendoodles are hypoallergenic
All dogs produce allergens, no matter what. Some dogs produce fewer allergens, and are better dogs for people who are allergic to dogs. Most Goldendoodles have low-shedding or non-shedding coats which is ideal for people with pet allergies.
A designer dog is a cross between two different dog breeds. While designer dogs are typically parented by two purebred dogs, this isn’t always the case. Unlike purebred dogs, designer dogs can’t be registered with the American Kennel Club. This means that you often get a lot of variety when it comes to Goldendoodle puppies. Our Goldendoodle puppies come from AKC registered purebred Poodles and Golden Retrievers.
Goldendoodles are incredibly smart
They are a combination of two very intelligent dog breeds — Golden Retrievers and Poodles. A high level of intelligence makes Goldendoodle puppies very trainable!
Few dogs are as sociable as Goldendoodles. They get along great with everyone! They love meeting new people, and they’re good with strangers, children, and other animals.
They are versatile
Some dogs require a big yard and several hours of activity everyday. Some dogs won’t sleep all day long and won’t go much farther than their front doorstep. Whether your family prefers low-key evenings in, or you’re constantly outdoors looking for your next adventure, Goldendoodles can adjust to fit your lifestyle.
Great dogs for first time dog owners
Some dogs take a lot of patience, dedication, and experience to raise right. This isn’t a requirement for raising Goldendoodle puppies! They’re adaptable, easy-going, smart, trainable, loving, and loyal.
Goldendoodles come in different sizes
The size of a Goldendoodle depends on the parentage. We offer Goldendoodles in three different sizes: mini, medium, and standard.
- Mini Goldendoodles weigh 25-35 pounds at maturity.
- Medium Goldendoodles weigh 40-50 pounds at maturity.
- Standard Goldendoodles weigh 50-75 pounds at maturity.
Low maintenance coats
You can put as much time as you want into making your Goldendoodle’s fluffy locks shine, but their coats are surprisingly low maintenance. A good brushing once or twice a week, a bath every one to two weeks, and the occasional trim here and there are all that it takes to keep your dog’s coat looking lovely.
Goldendoodles are not always golden
Goldendoodle puppies can have a lot of variety in their coloring. There are phantom, apricot, chocolate, and cream Goldendoodles. Sometimes their coats have multiple colors.
They make great exercise partners
Goldendoodles love to run, swim, jump, and play. Whether you’re into hiking, paddling, running, or jogging, Goldendoodles are great dogs for people who live an active lifestyle!
